WESTLAKE, Ohio -- Even before Santa arrived at Crocker Park Saturday night, a North Olmsted family received a very special gift. A brand new vehicle equipped to accommodate their special-needs son from MV-1 of Cleveland.

"Crocker Park employees nominated co-worker Ace Saliba to receive the van," said Lisa Schwan, Crocker Park spokesperson. "He's just the kind of guy who will do anything for anyone."
The Collection Auto Group presented Saliba with a new MV-1 wheelchair accessible vehicle and two-year lease. The whole family was called up on stage just before the tree lighting ceremony to receive the keys to the sleek black van.
"This means so much to me," said Saliba. "This will make it so much easier for me, my son, and family to get around."
This new vehicle, which is designed, engineered and manufactured specifically for people with disabilities, will be on display in the Collection Auto Group‘s booth at the Cleveland Auto Show.
“The MV-1 is really the first vehicle that was designed from the ground up for people with disabilities,” says Bernie Moreno, president of the Collection Auto Group, the exclusive Ohio distributor for the brand. “And because it was designed for people with disabilities, it will cost about half of what it costs to convert a vehicle for use by someone with disabilities. It also has a lot more structural integrity because the vehicle doesn’t have to be chopped up or changed.” It’s also a lot harder to tell that the person driving has a disability, Moreno notes.
